A Page or a Profile: The Dilemma
So I am thinking of doing away with my Facebook Page and just using my Facebook profile. I have went and made my profile public on FB which I know EVERYBODY says you should NOT do that. Yeah Yeah Yeah! Since when did I ever listen to what anybody ever said. Why did I make it public? Well …
1) I am Sarahahall.com and with that comes the automatic assumption that my life is NOT private. I put my life out there on the internet for the entire world to read so why do I need a private and/or friends only facebook. If you have the guts to post it online – it’s online. Private/Friends Only – it doesn’t matter. It’s the internet. We got an email from Facebook a while back saying we could collect ten dollars in a lawsuit because somebody sued cause Facebook used their info for an advertisement. So if your info was ever used you get part of the settlement. Well my response – if you put something on the internet expect it to be used against it. I post my entire life online so when someone used what I post against me – ah, been there done that. The story gets old. I just shake my head at people’s stupidity and make them a character in my story. It’s so much fun.
2) Making my facebook public allows me to do auto posts to Twitter from facebook. : ) I’m lazy – I don’t want to have to update twitter too. So now I can kill two birds with one stone.
3) Again – if you REALLY think hiding behind a private/friends only facebook works – tell that to the guy who just hacked your profile and has all your information.
Anyway so back to my dilemma- page or profile?
I just dont EVER update the page!! What’s the point? I update my personal FB ALL the time!! And it’s public now so why not JUST use that and screw the page thing.

The Newest Addition to Our Family
So I have been wanting a beta fish for a while now but have never wanted to spend $20 on one (once u buy the fish and the food). Well Cory returned the no bark sonic egg the Saturday to Petsmart (ended up not working that great) and he saw the fish were on sale for $4.99 and the food was like a dollar so he got one!
I call him Damon – yes from Vampire Diaries. I plan on getting a two beta fish tank and getting another and callin it Stephen! Hehe!

Okay it’s March 1st yet it doesn’t feel like March 1st! It is semi-warmer today and sunny out but the temperature was suppose to reach 80 by today and that has been pushed back to Sunday! Grrr! I hate cold weather!
Gas prices keep going up and up and up!! Grrr! Damn politics! I really do think most of it is the politics behind it!
Mitt Romney won the PPE here in Arizona. Ehhhh! He’s not my pick but I knew he would win it.

R.I.P – Sebastian … Oh & The Bird Story
So I got home from work on Friday to the sad news that our big black Molly fish – who I called Sebastian – died!! R.I.P! We are not sure what happened. Maybe it was the fact that he got sick when we switched tanks a few weeks ago. It looked like he got ick around his eyes and on his body. The other fish are all fine though. Usually with ick it’ll spread and is noticeable in the tank which is why we are thinking maybe he got sick with something else. I don’t know but either way – Poor Sebastian! 
So Cory went to go run to the store tonight before dinner and THIS is what we found on our porch – 
A big pigeon!! He wouldn’t move either. We went up to it, took it’s pic, and it just stared at us. I thought it was hurt but Cory says it’s out there a lot. Maybe it just wanted some shade. The neighborhood kids scared it off though. Poor thing! Maybe he’ll come back tomorrow. I named him Ed! : ) Obviously!
Anyway beyond that – today has been just a relax, stay at home day. Nothing special!

Well I am feeling better but I still have my moments. Like this morning I did not want to get out of bed. I felt blah! Some mornings are like that for me. I always feel better when I take a shower though.
Cars! I HATE CARS!! Spending $475 on an oil change, tires and alignment! Why are cars so dang expensive!!
Waiting 2.5 hours for WalMart to fill an RX!
Motivation!! I lack motivation! I don’t know how many times this week I have sat down to do my chapters 1-5 re-writes for Affair of the Mind and end up staring at a blank page for an hour until I finally give up. I did manage to get Chapter 1 re-wrote but I’m just in a blah mood. I want to finish the re-writes before March (like I said I would) and release them on my AOTM site, but for some reason I just can’t find the motivation to do so.

However speaking of motivation – I DID manage to re-do my site layout!! : ) Valentine’s Day is over and as much as I LOVED my heart shaped theme, I had to do something different. Mem gave Cory & I her old bread machine!! She hasn’t used the thing in ages and all it was doing was sitting around collecting dust. So she gave it to us! : ) So last night we made homemade cinnamon raisin bread! It was delicious!! 
We set up Debbie’s fish tank this week!! It looks amazing 
and I can’t believe how much Molly has grown. Remember Molly was the ONE fish we ended up saving when our Dalmatian Molly gave birth that weekend we were going to California last September/October I believe. Molly is a fighter & she’s going to get huge like her daddy (we have her daddy – mommy died giving birth).
A four day work week thanks to President’s Day!! It’s always nice to have an extra day off!
I’m now a red head! Spent way too much money on a color and cut BUT I <3 it!
Finding a cute pair of jeans at the Thrift Store & buying them!!
I finished the book Sarah’s Key yesterday for the #twookclub chat this weekend. Omg! I haven’t read that good of a book in a long time. It definitely is going on my favs list. It’s an amazing book. If you like anything themed around WWII you HAVE to read the book!

And $475 Later …
So today was one of those days where you wonder if anything can ever go right …! Well okay it wasn’t THAT bad but it turned into an unexpected headache.
But before I begin I think we need a background story. You know me – I LOVE background stories! In order to produce this background story, I had to go into my private, password encrypted journal and find the entry from 2008 (could have sworn it happened in 07 but journals don’t lie) that would explain in detail the background of today’s events. Here is an expert from that journal entry from January 31st, 2008
So after class I was driving to coffee talk and that god damn road construction!!!!! They shut down I-10 at 8 tonight (when class got out) so they had to detour all of us and I don’t know. There must have been something I hit in the road cause when I went to work this morning I had a flat tire. (its gets worse but I’ll leave that for later on in this post). I checked when I got to Coffee Talk BUT the tires seemed fine. Jared even looked at them. Nothing SEEMED wrong.
So I went to work today at my normal time of six am. So I had a flat tire. Okay whatever – no big deal!! Carlos said he’d put my spare on for me. THANK U CARLOS!! Cause u know I don’t know what Im doing. Anyway, he puts it on and then comes and tells me its not the tire (well it is but … that’s not the issue) I needed a new wheel cause it was bent JUST RIGHT to not hold the tire anymore. GRRR!! Go figure!! He said I probably hit a pot hole last night during road construction (and even the small ones can be damaging if not done right). So NEXT WEEK – IM FINDING A NEW WAY TO CLASS!! Anyway, it was probably my fault though. I wasn’t SOO much paying attention so it IS probably my fault but I LIKE to blame others!! Anyway, to make a LONG story short. I cant buy the wheel that I need at any discount tire place like that it HAS to be bought through Saturn. So the grand total cost for a new tire and wheel is FIVE hundred dollars. My parents will pay for it but … ahhh! Grrr!! So what pisses me off is that I tried to call Robert on my lunch break and I called like ten times but he wouldn’t pick up. John picked up when I called him and asked him to help me with my car when I got off work. Robert FINALLY picked up but STILL!! Ahhh! So John and Jar went with me after work. I actually didn’t go anywhere. I called Saturn got my parts ordered and will get it all done and fixed tomorrow at 330. I got my donut as they call it to take me to work tomorrow and to Saturn which is like an HOUR away but WHATEVER!! But yeah … grrrr!! Lol!
And 3 years later that ONE DAMN POT HOLE HAS CAUSED ME AGAIN!! Lol!
Let me explain:
I made an appointment at Big O’s today to get my oil changed. It’s been over the required 3-5 month time period. So I figured it was time to stop putting it off and get it done. I figured I needed an alignment as well. The car was shaking a bit and Cory said the car probably needed an alignment. So I took it down to get the oil changed and tire rotation (I had a $16.95 coupon) and to schedule an alignment for later (preferably the beginning of the month). I didn’t think ANYTHING was wrong with the tires. From the outside they look fine.
Anyway yesterday was President’s Day. So a lot of people were there and although I did make an appointment, I didn’t want to wait. So I called Pops. I knew he was down at the gym down by Big O’s anyway so he could come get me. Besides I had told Mem I’d be over for lunch. LoL! We were having left over tacos. So he came and got me and we headed back to the house.
Well Big O calls and says my front tires need replaced. They noticed when they were doing the tire rotation that one of the tires on the inside was coming apart (the “steal” was showing as they said) and the 2nd tire (although not as bad) was looking the same way too. Um, ok? They said driving on the one was unsafe. So I asked how much. Oh and he said I’d need an alignment too. To put two new tires on without the alignment would be pointless. So two new tires, an alignment and oil change equaled $451! An amount I COULD not afford!
Big O said they would go try and find a used tire to put on my car to get me by for a bit. So while he went to go look, Pops was asking how much four would be. Cause normally four new tires is cheaper then 2 cause you get a discount for buying 4. Well four new tires, an alignment, oil change, and even discounts for trading in two good tires was $554. STILL too pricy (even for Grandma who said if I could find it reasonable enough she’d pay for it). Oh and no they did not have any used tires to give me.
Well I called around and found Canyon Tire and Auto who was willing to go four new tires on and do an alignment for $450 (same price Big O quoted me for TWO tires!) Oh and I got to keep my two good tires for backups! : ) So that’s what we did! I cashed out my oil change at Big O and took the car to Canyon Tire and Auto where they did the alignment and four new tires.
So what does this have to do with what happened in 2008? Well I guess what happened in 2008 is causing my tires to wear down faster. I was told in 2008 that I had a bent rim. But it was something I could live with. Replacing a rim on a car that new at the time was FAR too expensive. Now as many times as I have taken the car to Big O they have never once mentioned the bent rim nor said it was an issue.
Canyon Tire and Auto however said it’s due to the bent rim that my tires are going bad faster than normal. I have not put 40,000 miles on that car since I moved here (which is what the mileage one should get on the original tires I had replaced in 08/09). So in other words – I need a new rim.
Oh and the bent rim was in the front which is where the car wears down on the tires the most. In 3 years NO ONE has EVER bothered to move the bent rim to the back! Canyon Tire and Auto did. Oya!
Anyway if anyone knows where I can get cheap rims, let me know! Lol! My car is okay but eventually I need to replace those rims or else I’ll have to buy new tires in 2-3 years instead of what I normally would have to buy them at.
Anyway, and that was my day! Oya!!! $475 later …. for these!
Oh well Cory and I did manage to go to Walmart while they worked on my car with Debbie and Andrew. She bought some fishes and set up her new tank. Pretty huh?

Well I have spent most of the week sick!!! Ahh! It started with a little frog in my throat, which turned into a stuffed up nose, which turned into a fever and dizziness which caused me to stay home from work on Wednesday! It was horrible!! I think I am getting over it though. My nose is still stuffed but not nearly as much as it was. Cory got me some Dayquil, Advil Congestion Relief, and Nyquil.
One of our new little blue neon tetras died on Valentine’s Day! We went and got four new fish over the weekend! Ross & David who were blue neon tetras and then Chili and Pepper who are star burst fish or something like that. But anyway Ross died on us on Tuesday! : ( Poor guy!! We’re not sure what happened. We thought for sure Chili wasn’t going to make it till the weekend. She’s swimming funny. But she’s still hanging in there. However for some reason or another, Ross died. Poo fish!! RIP!
Things That I’m Loving This Week …
We got a new fish tank!! I am really liking! It looks more natural and it’s something different from your boring every day fish tank. Ya know? It’s pretty!
One good thing about being sick and staying home – I got my DVR cleared! Haha! I am now officially ALL caught up on ALL my shows! And I even read half way through Sarah’s Key. I have to finish it by the 26th. I am pretty sure I can accomplish that.

Well since there is no prompt up yet for day #5 on the site and it’s already 730pm Arizona time, I might as well just assume there is not going to be one for today and just start writing about something!
So I am going to tell you all about the five new fishy we got today!!
First off – R.I.P Blueberry! He died yesterday …. we don’t really know what happened. It looked like the Ick had all cleared up. So we are not really sure why he died, but he did nonetheless. : ( Poor fishy!
Anyway we went to Petsmart and got three new blue neon tetra fish
They are named Alvin, Theodore, & Simon
Then we got two Red Tetras:
We named them Nick & Noel.
And we still have Poncho & Sabastion the two Molly’s along with Ucela the sucker fish. So let’s hope they all survive and live long happy fishy lives!

This weather!! Yes I am still bitching about the weather! I hate it! It got down to below 70 for a high yesterday! Brrr! Oh, and FYI – I hate the wind too!
Candy Corn (our fish) died on Halloween! At least he made it to Halloween though! Poor guy! We will miss you Candy Corn!
I <3 Batty (we changed the dog’s name to Bat Man aka: Batty because it suits him better. He has bat ears! 
Hence the name: Batty) but he is annoying at times. He thinks he is a lap dog when he is not a lap dog. He’s way too big to be a lap dog. Batty is like a little kid. He won’t let you sleep past 8am on the weekends. I <3 Batty though. Just getting use to him – that’s all.

We are finally caught up on the AT&T bill! So happy!
I was just informed I can get my upgrade to an Iphone 4s sooner than I thought! So excited! I’ll have to wait till my tax return comes in February but still … that’s better than next November! Wooo! AT&T Loves me!
I went to the LGBT Halloween Party last Friday with Brookie. It was fun times! It was nice to see old friends again. I posted pics of the event on my Wordless Wednesday post. Check it out!

Saturday I have the Yucca Parade for Buster and than I need to work on the Home Owners website. It’ll all be fun though! Fun times! Don’t worry – I’ll take pics!

This weather!! It’s windy & cold out! I know to some 77 may not be cold, but to a girl who loves it when it’s 110 outside – 77 is freezing! I <3 summer and spring and warmth! I don’t like cold!
And with cold comes allergies. I think I have been living off of Sudafed for like 2 weeks now. I woke up yesterday and my eye was all puffy! I have come to the conclusion that it’s not the pigs that I am allergic to. My eye was doing fine for a while. I think it’s the change in weather and just my allergies in general. Once I put hot water and some cordizone cream on it, I’m fine. But yesterday was bad.
Along with allergies, my back has been killing me lately! Can a girl have a heart attack at 24? I woke up today with horrible chest pains and an aching back. I took a nice hot shower and it went away, but it’s still scary waking up and not being able to breath from sharp pains in your back and chest.
Maybe it’s a 24 thing? I use to be a really healthy person, but lately I just feel blah. I can’t seem to get my ball of energy back. I try everything from drugs to glasses of Mt. Dew and nothing seems to help. I am at that point where I have no idea what to do! But I try not to let it get to me. There are those that go through life sick all the time. You kind of want to feel sorry for them, but honestly it’s like the sickness controls their life. Yeah I don’t feel good. I haven’t really for like 2 weeks, but I’m not going to sit here and let it ruin my day. I have a job and stuff to do. I’m 24 years old and I refuse to waste my life away being sick 24/7 and laying in bed all the time. I refuse! So sick or not – I’m going to get up and continue on with my life. Fuck you sickness! : ) It’s mind over matter – that’s my motto and always will be.
We had 4 fish die this week from Ick disease! : (
Things that I’m loving this week…
On a positive note – we still have FIVE fish! And Blueberry seems to be doing okay. He has ick a bit, but he’s full of energy! So hopefully he’ll stay strong and hang in there! Poor guy!
We got our dog, Milkshake, this week! I <3 Milkshake! He’s a big baby and runs whenever he hears a noise outside, but other than that he’s a good dog. He really is well behaved for a puppy! Sure he has his moments of being a bit too hyper when it’s 10 o’clock at night, but he does know what the word ‘no’ means.
Tomorrow is the LGBT Halloween Party in Havasu! I have decided to go. It’s time to put the past behind us and move on. I am hoping there is no drama at this party and peace can be had. If not, Brooke and I can always go to BJ’s and just get drunk! : )

R.I.P – The Fish
Well we lost five fish this past week to ICK disease! : ( We got the stuff to treat the tank with but it wasn’t enough to save the smallest fish.
We lost all three of our Blue Neon Tetra Fish
R.I.P – Flounder, Arial, & Scuttle
And today we lost the yellow fish
R.I.P – Submarine
Sunburst didn’t die but we took him back because the ICK made him lose his eye sight. He was swimming funny and was on the verge of dying. So we took him back.
So we are down to just five now.
We have Blueberry our blue guppy
Candy Corn our redish/orangish. He looks just like Sunburst only reddier
And our two molly fish – Poncho & Sebastian
Oh and can’t forget Urcela the sucker fish! Lol! 
Blueberry has ICK a bit on his fin. We keep treating the tank so let’s hope Blueberry survives. Not so worried about the other fish just Blueberry because he is the smallest. He was a guppy just like Submarine only he’s blue. So let’s hope he makes it.

Oh there is a whole list of things this week! Let’s start though with the one thing that is making me reach for it more: my “supposed to be” best friend. I really want to sit her down, knock some sense into her, and tell her to get her act in order. I understand that I’m a hypocrite and have done exactly what she is doing in the past, but you would think she would learn from that. She not only quit her job due to some dead beat who has been in jail before, a drug dealer, and does god knows what else boyfriend, but she’s lying to everyone non-stop. She lies about when she’s going to pay rent, where she is at, what she is doing, etc etc. She never use to lie to me before. Never! And now that’s all she does. She was supposed to pay rent 3 weeks ago, but god knows what happened to that money. I just don’t get it, and no matter what I do to try and knock some sense into her it isn’t working. It’s like everything is going in one ear and out the other. I would say ‘fuck it’ except her not paying rent is effecting us because she is living with my mother-in-law. She really needs to get her shit together or else she’s going to wake up one day and regret her entire life, and honestly I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst enemy.
I feel under appreciated at times. I feel like what I do is not good enough. I go to work and try to maintain a somewhat organized life, but I just feel like it’s not good enough. I’m trying to start this new business but there’s just not enough time in the day to attempt at it. I feel like I have no time to do anything anymore, and when I do have time whatever I do is not good enough.
So what if $$ grew on trees? : ) I know it doesn’t, but it’s coming down the point of ridicules. I am starting to look at life different. I completely agree with the Occupy Wallstreet protests. It’s like my husband and I both have incomes coming in and yet we still can’t pay all the bills. We’ve finally decided to just let a few go at this point, but still. I’m trying to do this new job but I feel like I have no support. I feel like I have no one encouraging me to do it except well the voices in my head. Lol!
There’s this really cute dog down at the pound Cory and I would love to adopt, but we don’t have the $28 to adopt it. : (
Why is Havasu gas so freakin expensive? We were in Bullhead this past weekend and their gas is around $3.29 where as Havasu is about $3.49. It’s insane! And I know Tucson gas is like $3 a gallon. I swear Havasu has the most expensive gas in the state.
Things that I’m loving this week…
We got tons of new fish this past weekend plus a fish tank! It’s so awesome! I’ll do a post on the fish at a later date. There are ten of them, so I have to find a way to get all ten of them photographed. Lol! But here’s a pic of our tank!
I <3 the chocolate chip Fiber Plus bars! They are like desert for breakfast! They are amazingly yum!
Debbie came up and hung out with us last weekend. She took us to this wing place! The food was awesome! Granted the waiter accidentally spilled Cory’s soda on him, but the food was amazing. Definitely a place we will be going back to.
Debbie bought us a new toaster oven!! AMAZING! <3 it!!
I have obtained $500 worth of GoogleAdwords for my websites! I’m so excited!
Went to the London Bridge redidication last Friday! I had to go take pics of the boss for work. It was fun times!

Coke & Love is based off of Wine and Love hosted by Nora! But because I really don’t like wine – I am calling it “Coke & Love” because I am addicted to Diet Coke. It’s where you share your weekly wines (or beer, liquor, soda- whatever your beverage preference is) and then your loves since last Thursday.

Things that are making me reach for the my bottle of Diet Coke …
I “feel funny!” I refuse to admit I think I am getting sick. I refuse! I don’t “do” sick. Mind over matter – that’s my motto. I think I have a sinus infection though. I take sudafed and I’m fine until it wears off.
Procrastination is still haunting me this week! I am going to attempt to work on SaCor Creations this weekend. I have a layout idea all in my head. I just need to put it down on paper. I’m not making any promises it’ll be done this weekend though. It probably wont with us going to the London Bridge Day Parade on Saturday and Cory’s mom coming up to visit, I doubt I’ll get much done, but at least I know where I’m going with it I guess.
Things that I’m loving this week…
We got three new fish on Monday!! There’s Sabastion (the big orange and black one), Ariel (the bigger of the two Neon Blue fish) and than Flounder (the smallest). : p When I get paid tomorrow, I’ll go buy them a bigger tank! Edgar’s old tank is a bit too small for them.
So my mom went to LA yesterday for more tests at the USC Medical Center. I watched Grandma for the day and spent the night. I got to sleep with my kitty, Edward! 
Well he’s not a kitty anymore. He’s big and fat! When I moved back to Havasu from college my parents took us in. They adopted Edward and refuse to give him back. It’s okay though, Edward loves it there. All he does is eat, sleep and poo all day. Must be nice!
Anyway, so my mom got good news! All her tests came back negative. She doesn’t have cancer anywhere in her body except on her face. They are like 90% certain it didn’t go into her limp nods. : ) She has problems though with her blood. She clots very easily. So they are going to put her on some meds and do some more tests later before they have the actual surgery to remove the cancer from her face. They don’t want her to bleed to death in surgery. But the good news is – she’s going to be okay! : )

I haven’t gotten around to mentioning this – so much going on from my husband being sick, to my Mom having cancer, etc etc – I just haven’t had time to mention that my fish died last Sunday!
I ginxed it too! My parents came down for dinner and I was saying how my fish was going to live FOREVER & then it died! I don’t know what happened. Cory said it was acting strange and than it died. : ( At least it was a fast death – I hope.

The Ipad
So now Im typing on the iPad hmmmm iPhone seems a bit easier to type on. Guess I just need to get use to this key board it’s a bit strange if u ask me.
Well let’s see went to dinner with the parents tonight for fish night at red onion. Mem and Pops like Cory. I can tell. Lol. He talks to them and they like that. The fish was yummy.
Were having issues with the new car and financing for it. I really like the car but if they can’t get it financed right for us were taking it back. I don’t know what will happen but whatever. I love the car but I don’t need it ya know. I have what I need. His name is Cory.
But I do really really like the car.
Ok I can’t do this iPad blog yet. Lol
